SABA
The South Asia Boxing Association (SABA) is a nonprofit body organized to regulate and sanction professional boxing matches in India and elsewhere around the world involving boxers from the South Asia region. With the approval of the Indian government, SABA will endeavor to build professional boxing in South Asia by establishing fair and legitimate national champions in the various countries of the region and a regional South Asia Boxing Association Champion in all 17 recognized weight classes. To accomplish those goals, SABA will develop an unbiased ranking system for professional fighters based on concrete criteria, train and monitor promoters, referees and judges to ensure the highest standards of safety and fairness, and engage with worldwide partners to increase the profile of Indian boxing.
